About the Role
As a Part-Time Soul Food Line Cook at SweetBeats Sports & Soulfood Karaoke Bar in Akron, OH, you’ll help create the soulful dishes that define our vibe. From fried chicken to collard greens, you’ll bring flavor and consistency to every plate while keeping the kitchen running smoothly in a fun, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items (fried chicken, catfish, collard greens, mac & cheese, etc.) according to recipes and SweetBeats standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with prep work before service and proper food storage after service.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy nights.
Support special events and high-volume shifts when needed.
