About the Role
SweetBeats Sports & Soulfood Karaoke Bar in Akron, OH is looking for a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. As the “face” of SweetBeats, you’ll greet customers, manage reservations and seating, and set the tone for a fun, family-oriented dining and entertainment experience.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests as they arrive with a warm, professional attitude.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments.
Collect admission payments or tickets at the door (cash, card, POS).
Provide wristbands, stamps, or entry credentials when needed.
Answer guest questions about the menu, events, and karaoke schedule.
Maintain cleanliness and organization at the entrance and host stand.
Work with security and FOH staff to manage guest flow during busy nights.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve minor guest concerns.
