About the Role
SweetBeats Sports & Soulfood Karaoke Bar in Akron, OH is looking for a Part-Time Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. You’ll help prepare ingredients and assist with daily kitchen tasks so our signature soul food dishes are ready to shine. This is a great role for someone dependable who enjoys working behind the scenes and wants to learn more about cooking in a fun, team-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for menu items (produce, meats, sides).
Assist with portioning and setting up stations before service.
Maintain a clean and organized prep area, following food safety standards.
Store ingredients properly and label items with prep dates.
Support line cooks during busy service hours.
Help with dishwashing and cleaning tasks when needed.
